GMTV presenter Anna Williamson asked Beaver Design to design a personal site on the web, to promote her work as a TV, voiceover and theatre professional. The theme of the website was designed to be interesting and informative, as well as a reflection of her bubbly personality. Clips, audio and pictures of Anna’s work are available to view, along with a history of her previous work. The web design is clear and intuitive, for easy navigation.

form and function for heat recruitment
23rd Apr 2008 (15:15:12) by Tom

Beaver Group recently completed an update to the Heat Recruitment website. In updating the look and feel of the site, Beaver Group was able to add some innovative functionality as well.
By integrating into Heat Recruitment’s own network, the website can automatically display new content – reducing the need for additional re-entry of data. With this, an RSS feed was built into the site allowing a prospective candidate to select the types of jobs they are interested in. The RSS feed will then deliver, direct to their reader (Internet Explorer for example), any new jobs that become available.
Candidates are also able to create their own login profile, onto which they can upload a CV. With this profile, they can keep track of jobs they have applied for and be emailed about any new ones that are listed.
Another feature that was built for the site was iTemps. This section of the website allows any temp worker to fill in their timesheet online. Their manager is then able to log in and validate the timesheet, all through iTemps. This saves the need for posting or faxing timesheets and reduces the processing time for Heat Recruitment.
The work and functionality that was put into the Heat Recruitment website means that there is less need to micro-manage the vacancy and application procedure. Jobs can be uploaded, searches done and temps looked after, all through an integrated and easy-to-use website.
