quality from street to site
21st Jun 2010 (11:13:29) by Robin

Today, St Andrew Street in Hertford launches their new website - designed and developed by Beaver Design!
Take a look: www.standrewstreet.com
For the last few months, Beaver Design has been working very closely with the businesses of St Andrew Street to create a new website for the whole street. The result is a site which features news, lots of pictures and videos - all with the aim of engaging with customers and showcasing the range of quality independent shops on the street.
All the designs, logos and layouts on the site were created in-house by Beaver Design. In addition, Beaver Design provided some photography services for the street, as well as videos provided by Ware-based Media 14
As well as designing and managing the site, Beaver Design is also working closely withe street to improve their presence on social networking tools such as Facebook and Twitter. With so many people using these services, St Andrew Street identified a need to be a part of it and engage online.
"By incorporating state-of-the-art features like video content and rolling news, we know that this website will be bookmarked and revisited regularly by many people. We are delighted with the result!" - Rod Lewis, Hertfordshire Graphics, St Andrew Street
To launch the site, the street are organising an event for Saturday 26th June. Vouchers are available online, so grab yourself a bargain!

This July, Beaver Design has been working on a number of client’s projects, as well as some internal improvements.
We’ve delivered the website for the newly formed Tudor Facilities Management, who we also provided with branding and stationery last month.
For the hair foil company Foila, we’re in the process of finalising their new site (which is already looking very good), but you can take a sneak peak at www.foila.com.
Beaver Design has also provided some design and print for the telecommunications company Ericsson, with some DVD covers, inlays and posters for their 2012 Strategy.
Watch this space...
Our design team and web developers have been designing a number of new things for the Beaver Group.
Firstly, the main Beaver Group website is being given a whole redevelopment (Beaver Design is a part of Beaver Group).
We’ve also got an exciting project coming up which is going to hopefully generate a lot of interest and buzz. It’s not only going to be a useful tool, but it should be a nice bit of fun.
So watch this space (and the space around our office...)!

This June saw Beaver Design finish a number of websites and graphic design projects for various clients. For One Workplayce (work-play-ce) we created a distinct and stylish website for their brand.
For the newly formed Tudor Facilities Management, we provided a whole new brand, with a new design and logo. On the graphic design side, we have created stationery and a quality brochure; and on the web design side, we are currently finalising a new website.
A new website for the official PA team for Reading FC has gone live, called ‘Back the Boys’. And Beaver Design’s conceptual work has continued this month with a number of packaging designs. These designs have gone off for use in market research to help determine the products of the future.
Speaking of the future, did you see our latest web advice article in Axis Magazine? This month we wrote about the future of the web and some of the big things which are going to change how we work and live in the years to come.
Were you there?
Last Wednesday Beaver Design was at the HBI Business Expo in the Galleria, Hatfield. Many businesses from the local area were exhibiting, networking and demonstrating their services. A great day and if you missed a chance to talk to us, please just get in touch!
And finally, we’ve had several applicants for our open position of web developer, but the position hasn't been taken yet... If you or someone you know is interested, then just send through a CV!

Beaver Solutions, part of the Beaver Group, is proud to have been shortlisted for the Hertfordshire FSB Awards 2009. The award winners will make history as this is the first year of these new awards, dedicated entirely to small businesses – who make up 99% of all UK enterprises.
The Beaver Group is being recognised in the category of ‘best e-business’ for our work with digital signage, audio visual and web-based technologies. Most notably, we are being recognised for our work integrating a variety of web technologies for use with digital signage.
Watch this space for further news and announcements, and wish us luck!
beavers in may
29th May 2009 (09:30:08) by Dave

Throughout May, Beaver Design has been working on a variety of different projects. With our web team, we have been developing a number of sites to go live in June, as well as completing web design work for Lefa Print and Chigwell Construction.
Our very own Dave Suter has written an article for the local Axis Magazine, looking at brand identity and how important it is to have a design which works throughout your business (you can download it here).
We’ve also been busy with some photography for market research. The images we’ve taken will be used to develop concepts for a well-known brand on your supermarket shelf.
Going and growing
The second HBI Business Expo is approaching on the 24th June at The Galleria, Hatfield. Beaver Design will be there again to demonstrate our services and what a difference it makes to chose Beaver. The last HBI event was a huge success and this one in June will be well worth attending – so come on down!
And finally, Beaver Design has a new position available. We’re looking for a web developer to join our growing Beaver team. If you or someone you know is interested, then please get in touch!
